Project Miami updates and teasers
Devlopment along the way
As we release the map there will me updates, for example new points of interest being added every few months and a overall expansion.
Developing Project Miami was a real passion project. I started by using Google Maps to study the real-life layout and atmosphere of Miami, using its satellite view and street-level perspective to get the proportions and flow of the coastal roads just right. While it's not a 1:1 replica, that reference was crucial for capturing the genuine feel of the location.
It was a challenging but rewarding process to translate that iconic geography from a digital map into a drivable Assetto Corsa experience.

The making of the I95 highway
We built the I-95 for Project Miami by tracing real-world map data and turning it into a drivable highway in Assetto Corsa. The road mesh was modeled for smooth high-speed runs, with interchanges, signs, and details added to capture the look of Miami’s. It’s designed to feel realistic while still running well on the server.
The I-95 on Project Miami is a long, open stretch of highway built for high-speed cruising and late-night drives. It’s perfect for testing top speed, racing with friends, or getting to know in the Miami on a wide, flowing road.
Outline of where we started
For our project, we started with a simple outline map of Miami that highlighted the key routes connecting the airport, downtown, and the beaches. This served as the foundation for planning how we wanted to represent the city in a way that was both clear and practical. The map helped us visualize the main arteries that keep Miami moving, from the highways circling the airport to the causeways stretching out toward the islands and Miami Beach.
